Overview:

We are currently seeking energetic, motivated individuals to join the Yellowstone Club as Cooks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to provide a memorable member and guest experience through their dining experience.

 

Cooks are responsible for:

  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served
  • Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
  • Pull food from freezer storage to thaw
  • Prepare various cuts of meat
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods
  • Prepare sauces, stock, and soup. Prepare cold food
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food using thermostats and thermometers
  • Monitor stock of kitchen supplies
  • Focus on total customer satisfaction
  • Cleaning and maintenance of kitchen at beginning and end of shift

 

Qualifications candidates must have:

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
  • Basic knife skills
  • Basic kitchen safety knowledge
  • Minimum of one year of experience cooking in the food industry, experience with luxury restaurants preferred
  • Be able to work weekends and holidays (these are our busiest times)
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours

 

The positions offered range from seasonal, part-time to seasonal, full-time.
