Yellowstone Club is a 13,600 acre private residential community set amidst the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains in Big Sky, Montana. Yellowstone Club offers its Members the world’s only private ski and golf community.  Members love being a part of this exceptional community due to our one-of-a-kind skiing experience and gorgeous summer weather that makes for memorable days on the 18-hole golf course, rivers, trails, and more.  Our employees make the Yellowstone Club experience come alive. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, guest services oriented individuals to join our Snowsports team to share their passion for skiing and snowboarding on our 2,200 acres of world-class skiing.

Do you have a passion for working with pre-school and older aged children and have a passion for skiing?  As a Children’s Specialist Snowports Instructor working in our 2-7 year old program you’ll get the best of both worlds.  This is a great opportunity to work with some of Yellowstone Club’s youngest Members and guests having the ability to make their first ski vacation magical and build lasting relationships with children and their families.  We are currently seeking Non-certified, Level I, Level II, Level III Children’s Specialists Snowsports Instructors.

 

A typical day as a Children’s Specialist Snowsports Instructors includes: attending daily morning meetings; check in children for lesson; interact with parents about the expectations of the day’s lesson; constant focus on safety to keep all safe and comfortable; attend to all the needs of the children to ensure they’re having fun; break down the lesson into skiing concepts and teaching methodology that fits the children(s) needs; snack/lunch break with your lesson; talk with the parents at the end of the day about the lesson; deliver excellent customer service, communication, and patience at all times; and prep progressive lesson plans for the next lesson or day.

 

Qualified candidates must have:

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work.
  • Current Children’s Specialist certification (for all positions other than Non-Certified Children’s Specialist Snowsports Instructor).
  • Passion for working with young children.
  • Previous creditable experience working with young children.
  • Creditable experience in teaching and/or coaching in skiing, riding, or other related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fundamental skiing/riding concepts and teaching methodology.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while working with a group of young children.

 

The positions offered range from seasonal, part-time to seasonal, full-time.
