We are currently hiring for a seasonal Chef de Cuisine. The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for supporting and assists the Executive Chef by overseeing the day-to-day culinary operation of the assigned outlet kitchen on Yellowstone Club property. Yellowstone Club has nine outlets on property ranging from continental breakfast, bar food, BBQ, Pacific Cuisine, and Fine Dining.


The Chef de Cuisine performs the following:

  • Work with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to help create and implement assigned outlet menu
  • Oversee the culinary team including but not limited to: training, performance management, and development
  • Work collaboratively with other managers and staff to create memorable dining experiences for Members and guests
  • Monitor quality of all food product and presentation
  • Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the kitchen and food production areas
  • Know and enforce all local health department sanitation laws
  • Develop proper training and direction of outlet assignments in compliance with company standards of quality, specifications, portion control, recipes, employee relations, sanitation, etc.

 Qualified candidates must have:

  • Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field
  • 3+ years of kitchen supervisor/sous chef experience in high-quality, resort or club environment
  • 3+ years of staff management experience or equivalent
  • Comprehensive knowledge of world class hospitality and service management
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a culinary team
  • Must be willing to work long hours which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to multitask and think quickly when under pressure
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs plus stand, walk and move around during majority of the day
  • Valid Driver’s License with ability to meet company driving insurance policy


The position offered is seasonal, full-time and located in Big Sky, MT.
